Explanation:
"Attic Stock" is a term used by many flooring retailers, contractors, and suppliers to describe excess material that is taking up valuable space in their warehouses. This can include all types of materials - anything from ceramic tile and rolls of carpet, to boxes of hardwood, laminate flooring, rolls of pad, area rugs, supplies and more.

disagree  FX Fraipont (X): "supplémentaires" does not translate "what is left when the job is finished". And ceratinly not "mobilier" .

It’s a good idea to purchase some additional tiles allowing for waste in cutting as well as possible future repairs and replacements. The carpet industry calls this “Attic Stock”. Based upon the square footage requirements for your project, a good rule of thumb for your “Attic Stock” would be 10%.

Attic stock is excess construction material held to allow for repairs.

C'est donc normalement une marge de sécurité que l'on prévoit dans une commande de matériaux.
