Termbase search -- no results showing

All of a sudden, my termbase results are not displaying.

In the source text, there is a red line below a term that I know is in the termbase, and apparently Studio believes there is also a hit.

But, in the termbase window, it says "Termbase search No results available" and the results I know are in the termbase are not being displayed.

How can I correct this situation?

Thanks!

Termbase recognition Dec 18, 2013

You want termbase recognition, not termbase search (the user interface is a bit confusing).

Just click the relevant tab below the termbase window.

Unfortunately, my user interface isn't showing tabs for selecting between these two options.

Strange - reset window layout Dec 18, 2013

That's strange. Have you tried to reset the window layout?

switch from the top Dec 18, 2013

I still don't have the tabs at the bottom of that window, but I discovered I can toggle from termbase recognition and termbase search using the buttons in the bar at the top in the View section.

Close and reopen the termbase window Apr 11, 2017

I just had the same problem, and closing and reopening the termbase window solved the problem. Simple and effective

Termbase in Language Cloud Aug 15, 2023

Have you tried to create a TB in the language cloud and then conect it to your project through the Termbase option in Project settings?

I had the same problem and now term recognition works in Trados.

For the creation of the cloud TB you login to your RWS cloud and go to terminology, then you click on create new termbase, choose language pairs. After the creation you import the TB as excel file or another type.
