Syn. : hyperendocrinie, hypercrinisme. L'adjectif hypercrinique qualifie une glande ou un tissu glandulaire dont la sécrétion est insuffisante ou inexistante. https://www.dictionnaire-medical.net/term/39741,1,xhtml intestinal epithelium Cell types Seven different cell types are produced by the stem cells that reside at the base of the crypts.[6] Each type matures according to its specific differentiation program as it migrates up and out of the crypt. Many of the genes necessary for differentiation into the different epithelial cell types have been identified and characterized (see this table). The cell types produced are: enterocytes, Goblet cells, enteroendocrine cells, Paneth cells, microfold cells, cup cells and tuft cells. Their functions are listed here:[7] Enterocytes are the most numerous and function primarily for nutrient absorption. Enterocytes express many catabolic enzymes on their exterior luminal surface to break down molecules to sizes appropriate for uptake into the cell. Examples of molecules taken up by enterocytes are: ions, water, simple sugars, vitamins, lipids, peptides and amino acids. Goblet cells secrete the mucus layer that protects the epithelium from the lumenal contents. Enteroendocrine cells secrete various gastrointestinal hormones including secretin, pancreozymin, enteroglucagon among others. Subsets of sensory intestinal epithelial cells synapse with nerves[8], and are known as neuropod cells.[9] Paneth cells produce antimicrobial peptides such as human beta-defensin.[10][11] Microfold cells (commonly referred to as M cells) sample antigens from the lumen and deliver them to the lymphoid tissue associated with the mucosa (MALT). In the small intestine, M cells are associated with Peyer's patches. Cup cells are a distinct cell type but with no known function. Tuft cells play a part in the immune response.[12] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intestinal_epithelium Example for globet cells in the airways Mucus hypersecretion from goblet cells add to the mess and blockage of airways https://www.superiorhealthplan.com/content/dam/centene/Super...

Als je heel goed zoekt tussen die 98 hits zie je dingen als: ... suppresses the inflammation and oedema of the mucous membrane with hypercrinia ... intestinal epithelium with hypercrinia ? en: Important diagnostic microscopic features of CD are architectural abnormalities of the villi (irregularity and blunting or broadening), preserved mucin secretion or increased mucin production (hypercrinia) by epithelial cells, mucoid or pseudopyloric metaplasia, active chronic inflammation and the presence of granulomas. http://www.med-info.nl/literatuur/Crohn_CU_IBS.pdf increased mucin production (hypercrinia) by intestinal epithelial cells ?

Belgisch artikel. 1 Department of Nephrology, University Hospital Gasthuisberg, Leuven, Belgium; 2 Department of Pathology, University Hospital Gasthuisberg, Leuven, Belgium; 3 Department of Gastroenterology, University Hospital Gasthuisberg, Leuven, Belgium https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1034/j.1600-0854....

Asker: The problem is that hypercrien is used as an adjective here: hypercrien intestinal epitheel.
Asker: Ben het helemaal met je eens. Bedankt voor al je informatie.
Asker: Hypercrinia wordt ook veel gebruikt. Zie Google.
On the other hand, in 8 of them, the crypt epithelium was markedly hypercrinic, as
well at the surface as at the base of the crypts. They also had a less pronounced bile
acid malabsorption but a significant faster colonic transit time, correlating with the
trough level of mycophenolic acid (MPA). Only four patients had a complete remission
of the diarrhea within 4 months. Conclusions: Persistent afebrile diarrhoea in renal
transplant recipients is characterized by erosive enterocolitis, which is of infectious
origin in at least 60 %. In 40 % a secretory enterocolitis was documented with a
marked hypercrinic colonic epithelium, but without identifiable infectious cause.
Because of a significant correlation between the colonic transit time and plasma MPA
trough levels, MMF may be suggested as possible cause.
