Dutch term or phrase: Ieperiaanse, Paniseliaanse, Lediaanse, Bartoniaans
Dear Colleagues,

I have to translate these terms fron dutch into french. They refer to the region of Ypres, Belgium, as it was inundated by those seas 55 million years ago. Has someone an idea how to translate them correctly? Thanks for your help.

Explanation:
Ypres
and
Diest are also regions in Belgium.
The other names or regions are not known to me.

If the correct names of teh places can be traced, the translation can read
La mer d'Ypres ( the sea of .....)
and
La mer de Diest.

The suffix ienne can be compared to
Paris - Parisienne
meaning
from that place
or of that place.

Have not found the words in any Dutch
dictionary. (as yet).
