Adı geçen öğrenci, yetişmiş olduğu olumsuz sosyo-ekonomik koşullara rağmen yüksek akademik başarı elde etmiştir. Dolayısıyla ilerleyen eğitim hayatına destek olmak maksadıyla kendisine ek bir başarı değerlendirme puanı verilmesi gerekir ki buna da "olumsuzluklara karşı başarı puanı" diyebiliriz.
