(typo) Explanation: Does not make any sense, maybe a typo, probably should read "...sellaisena kuin ne ovat 1 § laissa..." |

As they are in Explanation: This is definitely a typo. The correct word would be "Sellaisena kuin ne ovat". The whole sentence is a complete mess in terms of grammar. "Eduskunnan päätöksen mukaisesti muutetaan [X]lain (__/2010) 1 § ja 2 §, sellaisena kuin niistä ovat 1 § laissa __/2014 ja 2 § laissa __/2017" I would translate it along the lines "As per parliament's decision, sections 1 and 2 of X/2010 will be changed to correspond the 1st section of Y/2014 and the 2nd section of Z/2017 (, respectively)" Yes, words were omitted and yes, it's not word for word translation, but that was how I understood the text. "To be changed as written in X" etc etc. The (, respectively) depends on the rest of the text, whether the 1st and 2nd section will be changed on 1=1 basis or not. |
