Some excerpts from warehouse shipping instructions:

1.
”Lähetyslista laitetaan kollin nro 1 kylkeen muovitaskuun, mutta jos kolli nro 1 on lavalla alimmaisena, Lähetyslista laitetaan muovitaskuun sen lavan kylkeen, jossa kolli nro 1 sijaitsee.”

2.
”Jos sisäpakkauksessa enemmän kuin 5 kg, kolliin lisäksi tämä lipuke: [...]”

How should I picture a "kolli" in these contexts?
Is it a single package (box/parcel/etc.), a group of packages, etc.?

I know that "kolli" refers to some type of freight unit, but I need more specific details in this case.

Thanks

(PS -- I'm also aware that "kolli" has cognates in other European languages (e.g. German "Colli"), and I've found some discussions of those terms. But "kolli" is the sort of word that one can't assume is used identically from country to country, language to language, etc.)

It can't be more specific by definition: "Kolli on tarkemmin määrittelemätön matka- tai rahtitavaran kuljetusyksikkö."

Notes to answerer
Asker: I appreciate your response. However, the above quotes seem rather concretely specific: e.g. "jos kolli nro 1 on lavalla alimmaisena ...". This implies that 1) the "kolli" is something separate from the pallet, and 2) there can be several of them on a single pallet. Perhaps "box"/"parcel"/etc. is too specific, but what about e.g. "package"?

agree  Tomi Parviainen: Kolli is anything, a pallet, box etc. 2 boxes are 2 kollia, but if the 2 boxes are on pallet (attached) its 1 kolli.
