Japanese term or phrase: 美しき20歳の素顔
A friend's grandmother was the cover model on 女性セブン in the late 1960's... apparently one of the top models in Japan at the time. I'm translating the corresponding article within the magazine. The heading of the section of the magazine is 表紙のモデルは私です (my guess is that this is a regular section in the magazine), and the subhead is (her name) / 美しき20歳の素顔. Then it goes on to talk about her... she is a second-year student at Sophia University, came to Japan in connection with her dad's job and so on.

I'm trying to think of a good way to render 美しき20歳の素顔 and I'm not coming up with anything similarly snappy. I take it to mean "the everyday life of the pretty 20-year-old" or "the real girl behind the 20-year-old beauty". (Am I taking that correctly?) Any ideas?

20-year old beauty as it really is
Explanation:
It is not only her appearance but her personality of the 20 years old in the context. One phrase of "as it really is" covers the the both aspects.

Thank you for this idea, which I am entering into the KudoZ glossary. I wound up feeling that a loose translation of "Personal life of the 20-year-old beauty" was appropriate, given the content of the article it was the subhead for.
