Bio
Chinese-US English linguist w/ 20 years of experience in translation, localization, project management, LQA, and many more linguistics-adjacent fields. I previously lived in mainland China and specialized in working directly with film creatives to translate scripts and subtitles, and from there developed considerable experience working with IT, legal, marketing, automotive, government, and scientific documents by working with LSP's and private clients. My work with film and literary translation gives me a unique sensitivity for video game localization and other challenging cultural media. My project and department management experience also mean I understand the value of delivering work on time and on budget. My work with private clients means I know how to adapt to difficult projects and requirements. My resume has all the details, but I've been at it since 2004 and I know at least a thing or two about something.
