In 1984 I left the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and moved to France (Paris). I worked for more than 25 years for an important Dutch bank in Paris a.o. as a financial risk analyst. After the (hostile) take-over of this bank I decided to go back to university and obtained two bachelor degrees as a translator and interpreter French-Dutch-French.
At present I work as an independant (sworn) translator and interpreter (my commercial structure is called Interface France Pays-Bas). Most of my interventions are related to legal/economical/financial issues, but this doesn't mean that I am only restricted to this kind of business. Besides the fact that I work for legal authorities both in France and in the Netherlands, I do also work for industrial and medical companies with a large range of different activities (food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, marketing, technology etc.), insurance companies, lawyer's offices, translation/interpreting agencies in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. Thanks to my former job(s) and my experience I am used to discuss with commercial and financial management of international companies and at ease in multicultural discussions/exchanges/contracts.
My home base is nearby Paris, but regularly I am "on the road," travelling back and forth to the Netherlands.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need a (sworn) translator/interpreter. |
