Bio

Freelance translator with more than five years of experience, specifically in the field of patent translation. Since becoming a freelancer I have branched out into other fields, including technical documentation, instruction manuals, product specifications and company websites. A large proportion of my work is still in the patent field and mainly comprises patent applications, sets of claims, WIPO patentability reports (WOSAs) and abstracts.

I translate from German and Spanish into English and can also provide proofreading, editing and machine translation post-editing services. My rates vary depending on the type of work so please get in touch if you would like to collaborate.

I am an experienced user of SDL Trados Studio (with Studio 2022 licence), memoQ, Memsource, Microsoft Office and various translation management systems, particularly Plunet.
