The crime is referred to in section 3 article 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Criminal responsibility for the above mentioned crime is envisaged by art. 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine read as follows:

Study Title: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy, Parallel Group Study to Compare YM150 bid and qd Doses and Enoxaparin for Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism in Subjects Undergoing Elective Hip Replacement Surgery
Principal Investigator:
1. What is the purpose of this study?
After surgery like a hip replacement, there is a risk of formation of blood clots in veins of the legs due to the surgical trauma and lack of movement (immobilisation) during and after surgery. The presence of blood clots in the blood circulation is potentially dangerous. Therefore, drugs aiming to minimize this risk are given for 5 weeks after surgery, and movement should start as soon as possible. This study investigates a new drug under development, YM150, which has been designed to help reduce the risk of formation of blood clots in veins after hip replacement surgery. The study compares 4 different dosage groups of YM150 and Enoxaparin, an established injectable treatment for preventing blood clots. YM150 is taken as a tablet instead of an injection like most standard of care drugs. The information collected in this study will be analyzed to find out if YM150 is safe and effective compared to enoxaparin. It may be used for seeking approval from the medicines regulatory authorities to market the medicine for prevention of blood clots.
The total study duration is approximately 9 weeks. You will be asked to return to the hospital 3 or 4 times after being discharged.
2. What will happen to me if I take part?
If you decide to participate in the study, you will be randomised (allocated by chance) to one of five treatment groups. The treatment in this study is double blind. This means that neither you nor your study doctor will know which treatment you get. This is to prevent any possible bias from affecting the results. Your study doctor will have access to a code list which will be stored in a secure location confirming the treatment group you have been allocated to, therefore if a medical emergency that requires knowledge of your treatment occurs during the study, the doctor will be able to get this information.
Study medication
Patients in each group receive a different treatment, and the groups are compared at the end of the study. Your treatment will be either:
• YM150 15 mg twice a day
• YM150 30 mg twice a day
• YM150 30 mg once a day
• YM150 60 mg once a day
• Or Enoxaparin once a day (subcutaneous injection – an injection under the skin)
To maintain the blindness of the study, each day all patients will receive a morning dose of two tablets and one injection and an evening dose of one tablet. The daily dose is a combination of active treatment and placebo. Placebo is a dummy tablet or syringe that looks like the medication but is not. It contains no active ingredient and therefore does not give any active treatment.
