I am a native English-speaking (US) copywriter, content creator and editor. I also work as a Portuguese (BR) > English translator and interpreter. I have 14 years' experience, most of which is globally oriented.

I hold an MBA in Marketing from the University of New Mexico (USA), as well as degrees in Portuguese and Jewelry/Metal Arts. My home bases are South Florida, the Italy-Slovenia border region, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I started translating in 2007 while living in Mozambique (Africa). I provided services to The World Bank, international development organizations, NGOs and private businesses. I also wrote many proposals, grants and business plans during this time.

Eventually I broadened my focus to include Portuguese-English interpreting for interviews, meetings and other contexts where correct, culturally-sensitive, real-time communication is imperative.

Currently the bulk of my work is in English, including content creation for international companies and brands, copywriting, editing and proofreading. 

In addition to communications work, I am an artist (multi-media / jewelry / metalsmithing), a writer, and a producer of events and experiences in the places where my family and I have roots.
