I started my career as a freelance translator in 2017 taking advantage of my 14-year experience in manufacturing industry. Before becoming a translator, I served for a Japanese supplier of chemical products such as sealants, adhesives, lubricants etc. for industrial use. Main customers were auto-makers and electronics devices manufacturers. For the first 8 years of my career in the industry, I was responsible for the sales of the products, firstly as a sales representative to a Japanese major auto-maker and then to a Korean major electronics manufacturer of LCD and OLED devices. After that I was sent to Istanbul, Turkey to establish a liaison office of the company and become responsible for the activities related to sales of the products and distributor management in Turkey and some Eastern European countries such as Hungary and Romania. This experience, along with my excellent English speaking and writing skill, has made me a qualified translator of industrial materials such as technical documents, drawings, contracts, sales promotion materials etc. I expect to receive translation jobs especially in the fields of automotive and electronics, but also other jobs related to manufacturing industries.
