I hope we will be sent a link as the link was sent at the last minute, so did not see it, as I had forgotten about it

I found the event very useful as I learnt about some online resources I hadn't known. Also, I loved the idea of forming a team!
But, like Josephine, I missed the link with all data collected during the sessions. It would be great if we could get it some other way?
Thank you!

Thanks for attending - post event information Jul 11, 2013

Thanks for attending. We had over 400 professionals participate in the event and the discussion and engagement was very lively.

There was a lot of information and much of it can be found at http://www.proz.com/pages/postnetworkingeventinfo/Hotel-Tourism

You can still submit forms to include information in the "hotel/tourism resources" section as well as to express interest in working as a team and/or sharing translation memory.

Thanks for making this a great event. Stay tuned for more updates and follow up.

Am I alone? Jul 12, 2013

Was I really the only one who found the whole thing a complete waste of time, apart from the possibility of maybe getting a few hints from 3 hours' attendance? I think not, because I noticed someone saying exactly the same towards the end of the welcome session. I did sign back in a few times during the other sessions to see if things had come to order a bit, but it seemed to be more of the same babble. I did sign back in a few times during the other sessions to see if things had come to order a bit, but it seemed to be more of the same babble. I've been to several meetings in my life that have broken up into a multitude of separate discussions, and I've always walked out. Life's too short.

I'd always been disappointed with ProZ.com mass virtual events, but this one was in an area that's really specific and of great importance to me, so I thought I'd give them another try. After all, ProZ.com webinars can be so useful and informative. What's supposed to be the advantage of 400 people all trying to chat at the same time?
