Czech term (edited): Sb.

Coll.

"Sb." is an abbreviation of "Sbírky", which is short for "Sbírka zákonů", which is a collection of all the laws and other legal regulations of the Czech Republic, something like "statute book" in English. "Sb." is often translated into English as "Coll." (short for "collection"), although some translators choose to leave it in Czech.

Sb.

It stands for "sbírka zákonů", i.e. *Collection of Legislative Acts". In other words, this law is promulgated under number 345/2021 in the Collection of Legislative Acts. The European Commission recommendation is to leave "Sb." out (Act No 345/2021). Alternatively, you can keep "Sb.", if you want to treat it as part of the reference number (this also makes sense to me). Some translate it as "Coll.", which makes no sense at all to me - how is a foreigner reading the translated text meant to know what "Coll." means, I'd even accept "Gaz." over "Coll.".

In other words, analogous to the Narodne novine (i.e. official gazette)

agree Jiri Lonsky : I support leaving it out. It has zero information content.
