Course summary
Description This workshop is designed for basic SDL Trados Studio 2019 users. You will comfortably learn all main new basic tricks and features so that you can completely profit from the software and learn how to deal with most common file formats. You will learn how to create your own TMs or import TMs you receive from an agency, both with SDLTM and TMX format. You will also learn how to create and manage a Glossary (usually called Term Base) with SDL Multiterm 2019. See the program section below for more details on topics covered during the session. Target audience This course is addressed to professional translators who wish to start using SDL Trados Studio 2019 and want to get familiar with all new tricks and tips so to improve and increase their own translation daily productivity. Learning objectives How create a project with SDL Trados Studio 2019 (Either New Project or Translate Single File feature) How to create your brand new first TM or add existing ones to your projects How to import, manage, translate and export all your translated files to its native file-format How to deal with the regular translation workflow - hands-on approach to a sample translation How to create Teminology Lists or import your existing Terms from MS-Excel or MS-Word files into SDL Multiterm 2019. Prerequisites No specific knowledge on CAT TOOLs is required.
