Discussion

Lara Barnett Mar 11:
@ Francesca Could you confirm the correct spelling and punctuation of the two alternatives you have used please - in English this could make a difference:
terra-vuoto ....or
... terra/vuoto
tradu-grace Mar 7:
previous kudoz It may help somehow

https://www.proz.com/kudoz/italian-to-english/construction-c...

May be I'm wrong but I'll go for:
void basement/plant room
philgoddard Mar 6:
Here's a 'locale tecnico fuori terra vuoto' http://www.Bsvillage.Com/Locale-tecnico-fuori-terra-vuoto-gr...
I don't know if this is relevant - it's a storage unit. 'Fuori-terra' means above ground.

There may be something wrong with the punctuation, and perhaps a word missing. Francesca has also added a slash in the wrong place.

Or I could be completely wrong.
philgoddard Mar 5:
Basement?
I don't know whether 'chiusura' means 'lock' or 'close off'.

underground/technical room

anche "terravuoto"
li metterei insieme come sopra
può essere che il tutto sia separato dall'edificio

With access from the outside, the villa finally has a small cellar/technical room.

A mechanical room,[1] boiler room or plant room is a **technical room** or space in a building dedicated to the mechanical equipment and its associated electrical equipment, as opposed to rooms intended for human occupancy or storage.

underground/technical room
qui underground inteso come aggettivo di room
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : 'Cellar' is possible, but not 'underground', which is usually an adjective. And 'technical room' doesn't work either.
