Definition from Federal Citizen Information Center :
This is the very large payment that is due at the end of some loans. A balloon payment means that the borrower's monthly payments are used to pay the interest on the loan and that little of the payment is used to pay back the amount that was borrowed. Unless you know how you will make this payment, these loans can be risky.

When resources are full of mistakes Hello all, in Albania there is often a strange attitude (even amongst personnel of formal offices, ministries, technical staff in particular, etc) who think that it is not a big deal to write without Albanian letters or few mistakes. This has improved dramatically, thank God, but I still find laws at the QPZ without Albanian letters. Now, in those cases, I take the reference, "clean" it and put it in my explanation, then I may apologise for the mistakes in it, as if the link is really technical of the area and illustrates the term I may offer it.
Then there are those horrible links, forums, discussions, chats, pages where people have tried to say something in a very poor language, people who post machine translations, etc...Well, NO, I do not use them. They not only do not bring any thing good or new for the term in discussion, but it deteriorates further what we already are having very deteriorated in our Glossary here. So Klemi, I would understand a link, say, of the Min.Finance where the guy has not used the Albanian letters, but gosh, would never bring in a professional translation a suggestion from links with machine translation, poor language, etc. One should know better!!!

Ç'do me thënë kjo? Që një përkthyes përdor si përkufizim të termit që sugjeron si përkthim (dhe të cilin mbështet si profesionist) një përkufizim plot me gabime? Atëherë ç'ndihmesë japim ne për një fjalor serioz dhe të besueshëm, që do t'ju shërbejë kolegëve të tjerë në të ardhmen?

Më fal, Klemi, por ky konceptim më duket krejt i gabuar për një përkthyes.

Mendoj se n.q.s. një përkthyes nuk është në gjendje të sugjerojë një përkthim të saktë (që, të paktën, ai të jetë i ndërgjegjshëm që nuk sugjeron pasaktësira e gabime), nuk ka pse të sugjerojë asgjë.

It is true that there are misspelled words in my explanation just to protect the authenticity of the recognizable sources I used to defend my choice. Correcting the misspelled words and not recognizing the author (in our case the site) will be considered plagiarism. This is the main and the only reason of the present of misspelled words in my explanation. The material is presented as it shows on web site.

E njohur si pagesa gjyle, pagesa balonë, pagesa e menjëhershme ose totale e huas është njo lloj regjimi i shlyerjes së huas që në mjedisin bankar shihet për rastet e huadhënies ndaj konsumatori (consumer loan) dhe janë pagesa të menjëhershme për të shlyer detyrimin e mbetur në maturim që bën një huamarrës. Këto lloje huaje/regjim pagese huash hasen për automjete, mjete lundrimi, etj, ku në kontratën e huas parashikohen dy ose më shumë pagesa masive ose gjyle.

Bëhet fjalë për shlyerjen e një kredie kur principali dhe interesi nuk pagohen me këste derisa të shlyhet e gjithë vlera e kredisë, por me një pagesë përfundimtare e cila përfshin principalin dhe interesin e kredisë. Ka raste (si në rastin e obligacionieve) kur ky i fundit shitet më vlerë më të ulët se vlera nominale dhe në maturim mbajtësi përfiton vlerën nominale të letrës me vlerë. Interesi = Vlera nominale - çmimi i blerjes.
