開發、創作即不是英文原文的意思，也不是正規的中文 中國的電影電視，包括譯製片，都沒有這樣的用法。develop的意思是把片子從無到有製作出來，原文明確了他就是executive producers之一，不知道大家為什麼忽略原文自創一套根本不是原文意思的譯法。

說得更明白一點，執行製片人的工作就是受投子商委託把片子製作出來，因此developED BY 是製作的意思， 也就是produced by 的意思。開發是一個不知所云的說法。

这里的developed by是创作的意思。
通过搜索引擎，搜索Graham Yost，发现他的主要职业其实是电视电影编剧，出名的作品包括Speed, Broken Arrow和Hard Rain。所以其实这里有个隐藏的转折：我是执行制片人之一，但演职员表上应该打上“（Graham Yost）创作”。用“开发”我觉得有点别扭，虽然意思是一样的，但“开发”更多的用在IT和工程项目上。

Hi, thank you for sharing your view on how to translate "guess." I agree with you. Regarding the phrase in question, however, I don't mean to give him another title. I mean, "developed by" is a passive verb phrase, and should be translated as such, like "Graham出品" or "Graham製作". Of course, I'm not sure if they're the correct translation. They're just examples. You see what I mean?

My 2 cents What he is saying is that i'm one of the executive producer, so my role of an executive producer should appear on the screen. So you should better use the same phrase in Chinese, otherwise you have to give him another title, which is confusing to the Chinese. BTW, your translation of guess is too literal. it is just a more polite way of "believe". HE didn't guess anything, so you'd better not use the Chinese word for guess, because such a use will lead to a totally different meaning.

I know executive producer is translated as 執行製片人. So if "developed by" is still translated as 執行製片人, wouldn't that sound quite silly in this case since it has appeared once before? Like,
