Abstrakt
Článek informuje o nejnovějších poznatcích jedné ze skupin bojových chemických látek, kterými jsou látky zpuchýřující. Jedná se o potenciálně zneužitelné bojové chemické látky, které díky svým projevům intoxikace představují vážné riziko pro obyvatelstvo a zasahující složky integrovaného záchranného systému. Nebezpečné jsou i nálezy sudů a ampulí s těmito látkami, které jsou uložené na nepovolených místech. V článku jsou shrnuty možnosti diagnostiky akutních otrav zpuchýřujícími látkami, laboratorní diagnostické metody, nejnovější postupy v terapii otrav, ochrana dýchacích cest a povrchu těla a způsoby odmořování po zasažení těmito látkami.

Abstract
This article summarizes the latest findings on an important aspect of chemical warfare agents, which are vesicant substances. The article summarizes the physical and chemical properties of vesicant agents, the mechanism of their toxic effects, toxicity and the clinical course of poisoning after being hit by these substances. Aggressive vesicant substances is characterized by the delayed onset of typical symptoms of intoxication (the latent period). Substances in this group permeate all entry gates, causing characteristic symptoms and involving the eyes, respiratory tract, and skin. Anti vesicant substances is extremely difficult, because these substances can easily penetrate through all kinds of materials. The typical physical properties have particularly high stability in the field.

V případě podezření na extravazaci jiných zpuchýřujících látek než jsou antracykliny v témž intravenózním přístupu, např. jako je vinkristin, mitomycin a vinorelbin, nebude přípravek Savene proti reakci na tyto látky účinný.
