Kristinos Rosetti eilės
Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
A sluggard with a thorn-choked garden plot.
Take counsel, sever from my lot your lot,
Dwell in your pleasant places, hoard your gold.
Lest you with me should shiver on the wold,
Athirst and hungering on a buren spot.
For I have hedged me with a thorny hedge,
I live alone, I look to die alone:
Yet sometimes when a wind sigh through the sedge,
Ghosts of my buried years and friends come back
My heart goes sighing after swallows flown
On sometime summer's unreturning track.
Niekaip nesugalvoju, kaip derėtų versti paskutiniąją eilutę...Dėkui už pagalbą.

...vasaros taku, kuris kartais neparveda atgal
Mano širdis atsidūsėja / man suspaudžia širdį, išskridus kregždėms
Vasaros taku, kuris kartais neparveda atgal.
Gal galima 'vasaros taku, kartais negrįžtančiu atgal', bet pats takas negali nei grįžti, nei negrįžti, ar ne?

Ugnei: O kadangi tai Christina Rosetti (1830 – 1894) eilėraštis, tai ta reikšmė, mano manymu, tinka.

prabėgusios vasaros negrįžtamu keliu
kiek suprantu, 'sometime' čia reiškia 'kažkada buvusios', taigi tiks ir 'prabėgusios'

kažkuomet, negrįžtamame vasaros take...

Mano širdis aimanuoja kregždėms išskridus kitados vasaros negrįžtamu taku.
Nesu poezijos mylėtojas, siūlau tokį vertimo variantą.
