"MDC" is the most common abbreviation for "main distribution center" or "main distribution closet", which is a fairly standard term. (it might actually be defined in one of the ANSI/EIA standards for structured cabling systems, but the standards texts are written in fairly dense bureaucratese.)

i'm not entirely certain about "information leakage" as opposed to "data loss"; which is better would depend on context and precisely what is meant - does this clause have to do with information security or more to do with reliability of the communications system?
