Forhold

Norwegian to English Medical Medical: Health Care Paediatric report
Hei!

I'm translating a hospital discharge summary about an infant who has Branchio-oculo-facial syndrome, this causes problems with development of the face.

One comment appears as below,

"Åpne forhold i nesen".

It's not clear from the context what this doctor means (his notes are very brief, often he doesn't even write in complete sentences). He is describing the child's facial features. Can I take this sentence to mean the inside of the child's nose is unaffected by the condition?

Just shout if anything needs further clarification.

Thanks and regards,
Alison.
