all great answers i had come to something like: You are only as fast as your slowest man. It is a naval-military term no doubt... and is hard to choose between which has been the most helpful, you all have!! SPAZIBA

there is one word that needs to go in... эскадры, as in squadron, I presume. Your translation fits, but I am looking for an exact mirror of this... thank you, will let this steep a bit, while I keep searching!
