Spanish term

Bosque de frondosas

Spanish to English Science Forestry / Wood / Timber Describing forests, trees
Hi,

I am translating a text on the environmental impact of wind farms on bat populations.

The term "frondoso" and "Bosque de frondosas" come up regulary. I have been using "leafy". Would that be a suitable adjective in this case or is there a more scientific term?

Thanks

broadleaf/broad-leaved forest | hardwood forest

A couple of options. These are the specific terms used in forestry.

Me too, I left "hardwood" as another option for Simon to choose from. Thanks for your "agree".
agree Charles Davis : "Woodland" will sometimes be suitable as an alternative to "forest", depending on the context.
