Spanish term

7 y media

Spanish to English Other Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino card game
It's a Spanish or Italian card game (sette e mezzo in Italian). I need to know whether it has any equivalent in English. It seems to be similar to blackjack, except you have to make 7 and a half points instead of 21.

See how it's played here. The guy calls it "Seven and a half", but since he's Italian, I think he is only offering that name as a translation of Sette e Mezzo. I haven't seen anybody else call it that:

isn't it "siete y medio"? That's what I always heard...
Non-ProZ.com Jun 15, 2004:
Client just told me: It's known by its Spanish name: Siete y media, or 7 1/2.

So don't worry your heads.
