: Michael. It's a game where people at work take names out of a hat and buy a present for that person. Thus, everybody gets presents and they don't know who bought them. I never heard of anything like that in English, but maybe you know whether it exists

Do you ever participate in the secret exchange of gifts at Christmas time where everyone has to get something for someone else but no one knows who is buying for who? Here in Australia we call it Criscringle in other places its called \'Secret Santa\'.
