Having problems with this little phrase, easy as it is, I just can't find the right words in English. Any help wd be v much appreciated!

Thanks Gary. I like it and finally went with this! ;) But, you know, I'm still not 100% happy that we have an equivalent encapsulating all that "expectativas" conveys... maybe we should adopt it to English! xx

As you say, it is a simple little phrase, not particularly technical, so I think in English we would say something like this. It gives the menaing but, like the source text, is not very specific.

Thanks Marwen, I had mulled this one over too. I really like your suggestion and nearly went with it, but somehow nothing quite hits the spot for this neat little word "expectativas" - it just encapsulates so much for me, hope, expectation, possibilities, probablilities... stupid to get hung up on one little word!
