Good afternoon!
I am not having much success with this phrase. Only one or two hits for "dysthmic/dysthmia syndrome"
This concerns a 35 year old woman undergoing divorce proceedings and separation from her son and is suffering from anxiety crises, depression and insomnia.
Other clinical signs =
Thank you for any help.

dysthymic disorder
I believe that "dysthymic disorder" is the proper diagnosis here. It looks as though the clinician used "sindrome" instead of the proper "trastorno."

Dysthymic Disorder is characterized by chronic depression, but with less severity than a major depression. The essential symptom for Dysthymic disorder is an almost daily depressed mood for at least two years, but without the necessary criteria for a major depression. Low energy, sleep or appetite disturbances and low self-esteem are usually part of the clinical picture as well.

NB: "Dysthymic disorder" is sometimes simply referred to as "dysthymia," although "dysthymic disorder" is the preferred term today.
Dysthymic Disorder (previously known as Dysthymia) can be diagnosed when a person has had a variety of depressive symptoms for at least two years, and these symptoms are not numerous or severe enough to qualify for Major Depressive Disorder. It can be difficult to distinguish from, since it is similar in terms of the types of symptoms present, and their onset and duration historically. In both disorders, individuals may have changes in their sleep patterns or appetite, low energy or fatigue, low self-esteem, poor concentration or difficulty making decisions, or hopelessness during periods of depressed mood. However, individuals with Dysthymic Disorder may have more prominent cognitive or interpersonal symptoms, such as pessimism, feelings of inadequacy, and social withdrawal.
