Can I just add that I would interpret \"stocks\" as merchandise on the premises or owned by the seller. \"Supplies\" suggests that it is until the supplier of the goods runs out (of stock)

I used Alta Vista to narrow the search to the UK. I got 274,526 hits for \"while supplies last\" and 29,442 for \"while stocks last.\" Of course, Alta Vista may won\'t exclude sites that were written for the American market but are hosted in the UK.

David B: If you say that \"while stocks last\" is more common in the UK, I believe you. The asker should select your answer if her text is directed at the UK market.
