I bought my desktop version of MemoQ as I was using the agencies' web version before but having a desktop version greatly helps me when I have big projects as I can work faster. i also bought Studio Trados 2021 as I was previously using a Studio 2017 with a licence given by an agency. As the agency is no longer using Studio Trados, i will only be able to use the 2017 as long as my laptop lasts, so it was worth buying the 2021 as I benefited from a 30% discount.

Do in-software version upgrades count? If so, I upgraded memoQ from 10.4 to 10.5 about a week after it became available. Other than that, I don't even know.

...(in April) and it's still alive and one of the smoothest CATs for MS Windows (even Windows 11).

I upgraded to Trados Studio 2021, and I’ll hold off on upgrading again until I really feel I have to.

Each new version seems to be much the same as the last, and none of the changes are useful to me. It appears that RWS has no interest in rectifying bugs that have been known for years or adding features that have been requested over and over again. So I resent giving RWS any more money than I absolutely have to!

MemoQ, I think. Before that, Wordfast Pro. Does renewing one's antivirus or paid email service count?
