dài từ khu du lịch Bãi Cháy sang tận thành phố Hạ Long đã được nâng cấp, cải tạo. Không chỉ khách nội, hàng ngàn du khách nước ngoài cũng đang tập kết về Quảng Ninh để chờ đón đêm hội. Anh David, quốc tịch Brazil hồ hởi: “Năm ngoái một người bạn tôi đến Hạ Long về kể lễ hội ở đây rất tuyệt. Năm nay tôi sang Việt Nam du lịch, tôi đã đi Hội An, Hà Nội và giờ về Hạ Long chờ đêm Carnaval”.
Tuần lễ du lịch Hạ Long 2011 chính thức khai hội từ 28.4, đêm 1.5 sẽ diễn ra chương trình Lễ hội đường phố Carnaval và vũ hội hóa trang 2011. Theo chương trình, lễ hội Carnaval 2011 là sự đan xen
giữa các tiết mục của những nghệ sĩ biểu diễn chuyên nghiệp với du khách và nhân dân địa phương.
Người tham dự sẽ diễu hành trên đường phố trong các khối diễn và theo các mô hình cụ thể như: mô hình Du lịch văn hoá tâm linh, Du lịch biển đảo, thương mại vùng biển, hội tụ những kỳ quan...
Tiết mục vũ hội hóa trang kết hợp bắn pháo hoa và pháo bông sẽ diễn ra trên nền âm nhạc trên sân khấu và trên đường phố theo hướng không gian mở. 20 giờ tối 2.5, một màn trình diễn ánh sáng nghệ thuật với chủ đề “Đêm Hạ Long kỳ ảo - Hạ Long by night" sẽ chính thức được trình chiếu, hứa hẹn làm “mãn nhãn” các du khách khó tính nhất.
Ông Hà Quang Long, Giám đốc Sở Văn hóa - Thể thao - Du lịch Quảng Ninh chia sẻ: “Hàng loạt hoạt động tại Carnaval này có ý nghĩa đặc biệt quan trọng khi Vịnh Hạ Long đang ở trong chặng đua nước rút cuối cùng trên con đường chinh phục danh hiệu Kỳ quan thế giới mới”.

Ha Long Tourism Week 2011 officially opens from April 28, the Carnival and Masquerade 2011 will be held on May 1. Under the program, Carnival 2011 is a mixture performance of professional artists, travelers and local people. Participants will march on the streets in block performance and specific models such as the cultural model of spiritual tourism, island tourism, commercial marine, convergence of wonders, etc.
Masquerade and fireworks will take place on the street towards open space with the on-stage background music. On 20:00 May 2, a light show with the theme "Ha Long by night" will officially be
released, promise to "voyeuristic" the most difficult visitors.
"A series of activities in this Carnival will play an important role, especially when Ha Long Bay is in the final sprint race to conquer the honor of the new world wonders.” said Mr. Ha Quang Long, Director of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Ninh.
