Hi everyone. This text is an academic article on structures built in Southern Catalonia at the end of the nineteenth century. The author wants UK English.

In researching it seems like the "luz" of the arch is the stretch at the botton. What do we call this in English? Has anyone seen this before? Thanks everyone!!!!

Peer comment(s):

agree Charles Davis : Can't think of a better way of putting it. In context, I suppose it could be something like: "if the arch has a wide span" (or "if it is a wide-spanning arch", of course)
