Contesto: Autonomic Report

Interpretation: The results show evidence of normal sympathetic tone in skeletal muscles, normal cardioaccelerator function and a normal splanchnic sympathetic tone in the deep target organs of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system. There was evidence of normal venous return to the heart. In the parasympathetic division, there was normal resting cardiac vagal tone associated with appropriate resting heart rate.

Senz'altro sono organi bersaglio, tuttavia non riesco a pensare a una traduzione di deep. Si può parlare di organi bersaglio interni? forse, ma non sono tutti interni gli organi?
