Lisa McCarthy (asker) May 24, 2016:
Jury's still out on this one I've queried this with the client but haven't received an answer yet.
Lisa McCarthy (asker) May 13, 2016:
Hi Pat Yes, I know about context and all that but I don't have much more to offer here. This is a PPT slide. The company offers banks ways of reducing costs through better 'cash management', based on the use of algorithms/forecast models.
patinba May 13, 2016:
More context please As you know, Lisa, answerers need context, and you have not given us much to go on. Is the company involved a value carrier?

Utilisation of receivables

% costs for the use of receivables; is this some form of costs incurred in factoring?
Note from asker:
Thanks, Oliver. No, I reckon it has something to do with cash supplies in banks and ATM machines (cash withdrawal).

receivable turover

Receivable Turnover Ratio or Debtor's Turnover Ratio is an accounting measure used to measure how effective a company is in extending credit as well as collecting debts. The receivables turnover ratio is an activity ratio, measuring how efficiently a firm uses its assets.

A high ratio implies either that a company operates on a cash basis or that its extension of credit and collection of accounts receivable is efficient. While a low ratio implies the company is not making the timely collection of credit.

Thanks François, I think it's something do do with managing cash in branch ATMs and remote ATMs though.
