French term

exporter en DRY

French to English Marketing Food & Drink processed cheese
Context: the document is a product launch strategy for a new processed cheese product. This section deals with the logistics of the product distribution (via shipping) from the production facility to wholesalers.

Sentence: "Départ en container REEFER 20’ ou 40’ à 18°C dans un premier temps en attendant les résultats des tests qui nous permettrons d’exporter ces produits en DRY."

Since the product is intended to be non-refrigerated, I understand that they are waiting for tests to see if it can be shipped in a different way, I'm just not sure what the exact meaning is here and what the correct term would be in English (do we say "dry-export"?).

Thanks for your input!

export in dry containers

It's the standard type of container used for dry goods, as opposed to a reefer, which is short for "refrigerated".
