German term
SR (abbreviation)
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
From a set of documents on the discharge of patient with spinal injuries after an accident.
This page is entitled: Webzugriff auf medizinische Biiddaten mostly describing internet access and personal data details.
Studienbeschreibung Studiendatum Modalitäten
BWS (Brustwirbelsäule = thoracic spine) Date CR (which think stands for Computed Radiography), *SR*
Knie Date CR (which think stands for Computed Radiography), *SR*
Knie Date CR (which think stands for Computed Radiography), *SR*
Patella Date CR (which think stands for Computed Radiography), *SR*
Es werden die aktuellsten 4 von 6 Studien dargestellt.
I think CR stands for Computed Radiography, but I do not know what SR stands for.
I have found a site with clarifications of abbreviations in this area, but the SR one does not seem to fit:

Modalitäten
Hier ist eine vollständige und aktuelle Liste aller definierten Bezeichnungen für die Modalität (Modality: 0008,0060):
CR Computed Radiography
SR Structured Report Document
I have also seen entries in PROZ for the medical context, but they do not seem to fit - it does not mean sinus rhythm, for example.
What could SR refer to?

Comparison between standard radiography and spiral CT with 3D reconstruction in the evaluation, classification and management of tibial plateau fractures

Standard radiography (SR) is the most commonly used technique for the diagnosis of SF, but has a low sensitivity and a high percentage of false-positive ...

See this:
The definition for the attribute Modality is “Type of equipment that originally acquired the data used to create the images in this Series.” So typical enumerated values are CT, MR, OP, OCT, etc. However, for certain types of IODs the enumerated values were NOT set to values based on the type of equipment but the type of IOD, such as SR, PR, RTDOSE, SEG, KO and more.
For example, when a CT modality system creates a SR SOP Instance, the value for Modality is SR, not CT. That does not follow the strict definition of Modality but it is very useful as it makes it straight forward systems to perform Query/Retrieve, etc.

stereoradiography
The method of taking radiographs from two slightly different positions so as to obtain a stereoscopic effect.

Objectives: To calculate and compare the doses of ionizing radiation delivered to the organs by computed tomography (CT) and stereoradiography (SR) during measurements of lower limb torsion and anteversion.
