I'm trying to translate Maestra en Derechos Humanos con Área Terminal en Derechos Humanos and I'm not sure what they mean by "Área Terminal"

NB: I'm not agreeing with Tobias' suggestion because I find it rather odd, but perhaps it sounds OK to US speakers. I'd be more likely to favour Abel's suggestion of something along the lines of "specialization/specializing in...".

Agree is a specialty, but what is proper tierm in Eng or British?
en programas de estudios de licenciatura o posgrado en Mexico (creo que es tu caso, por la ref. que pusiste) un area terminal son un grupo de asignaturas (creditos) de un area específica, en cierto modo es una especialidad (o miniespecialidad). Por ejemplo yo soy farmaceutico con area terminal en producción de medicamentos y química farmaceutica, pero existe otra opción que era Análisis Clínicos.
