Czech term

skládané parketové podlahy

Czech to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
Návštěvníci zámku mohou obdivovat renesanční intarzované dveře, okna s litými čočkovými skly nebo *skládané parketové podlahy*.

Is this a term for "herringbone parquet"?

The term "folded parquet" can be found, but seems an odd term - I haven't come across it before.

[mosaic] parquet floors

it's a tautology: a parquet floor is 'skládaný' by definition, but for emphasis one can add 'mosaic' or 'patterned' or something to that effect

Thanks. Yes, the word seems redundant.

inlaid parquet flooring

I agree that "a parquet floor is 'skládaný' by definition". More likeky, it should be "vykládané" in Czech.

It means that this is not a simple pattern like "herringbone" and may include various wood kinds and shapes

Thank you for the suggestion. I can't be sure that's what they mean.
