Recognition for Multilingualism

If your child is in preschool, elementary, or middle school, ask your child’s school how your child can earn a Biliteracy Pathway Recognition, which recognizes students who have demonstrated progress toward proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English.

If your child is in high school, ask your child’s school how your child can be on track to earn a State Seal of Biliteracy, which is a recognition given to high school graduates who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English.
