English term

Absolute Decree M.C.

English to Italian Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Canadian Divorce Decree
It's a Canadian divorce decree and this is the "name" of the document. I know 'absolute decree' can be translated in 'sentenza definitiva', but I have no idea what this 'M.C.' stands for... 'Marriage Cancellation'? 'Marriage Certificate'? The acronym is not repeated anywhere else in the document and I couldn't find anything useful on the web including this acronym in divorce papers. Any ideas?

This is an absolute decree following a decree nisi I have a scanned version of the original document and there's clearly 'Absolute Decree M.C.' - exactly like this.
Shera Lyn Parpia Aug 19, 2011:
Do you have ... a copy of the actual document? Or is it an OCR/dictated document? The term "decree nisi" springs to mind - it sounds a lot like MC but is clearly another term.
