sono d'accordo che non dovrebbe essere "than" ma "as" o "since", ma il senso è inequivocabile. Immagino che si di un costumista il cui lavoro sarà particolarmente impeganativo in quanto la Callas sin dal debutto ecc. ha sempre indossato gioielli di scena di grande effetto

Un errore nel testo suppongo ci sia. Than e from insieme così non li ho mai visti. Tra l'altro "than" ha un solo uso , cioè nei paragoni/comparative.
