My Co-Trustee shall hold the sum known as the "Marital Trust", in trust, to invest and reinvest the same and to payt or apply the net income to my husband, XXX, in frequent intervals but no less than quarter-annually during his life. My Executor is hereby directed to elect that the amount passing under this provision be treated as qualified terminable interest property for the purposes of qualifying for the allowable federal marital deduction.
