During normal operation or during electromagnetic (EM) disturbances, the following conditions are expected:
• System shall be free from the display of incorrect numeric values.
• System shall be free from the production of excess output.
• While experiencing environmental stress, including EM disturbances, the system functions are to be expected
as follows:
○ Free from unwanted output in the form of an unintended transient or permanent changes to
infusion/irrigation drip chamber height to less than 27 cm above the aspiration port.
○ Free from unwanted output in the form of an unintended transient or permanent changes to infusion air
pressure to pressures less than 20 mm Hg.
○ Free from unwanted output in the form of any instances of the laser firing when the laser fire button is not
being pushed by an operator.
