control arm / transverse link
These two terms are synonymous.
As there are only 15 googlies for "Achsquerlenker", my suspicion is confirmed that the 'Achs' is superfluous, especially if the context is obvious.
LEO offers 'transverse control arm'
DicData gives 'control arm' and 'suspension arm'
Laixicon gives a whole range of combinations using control, transverse, arm, and link.
