Silly question! What is the best way to translate Hebrew letters of the alphabet into English letters in a legal document? for example:
"(3)נגד מדינת ישראל, פסק דין נד XXX". How would I translate the letters נד? would it be ND or numbers or how would I figure out the equivalent in English?
Thanks!

This is based on a system (called gematria) whereby each letter of the Hebrew alphabet denotes a number. In your present case, the nun represents 50 and the dalet represents 4.
