Bio

INTRODUCTION

I am a native French speaker from France with a Master's Degree in Multidisciplinary Translation from the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation (FTI-EII) of Mons, Belgium. During my studies I spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Germersheim, Germany and I also spent a three-month internship in a translation firm in Paris, France. I am currently residing in the United States, where I work as a freelance translator. Since the end of my studies, I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of texts for different translation firms (for more details, do not hesitate to ask for my curriculum).

TRANSLATION

I always do my best to deliver high quality translations, I take time to do research, I always proofread my work, and I always respect deadlines.

I work with Trados 2021, and I have worked with MemoQ and Polyglot.

Curious, I love learning new things. I recently discovered the platform FUN, France Université Numérique, which is a platform offering free classes given by university teachers.
Courses taken:
- Environnement et développement durable (Environment and sustainable development)
- Terrorismes (Terrorism)
- Géopolitique de la Chine contemporaine (Geopolitics of contemporary China)
- Les Chansons des Troubadours (Songs of Troubadours)
- Sur les pas des combattants de Verdun (In the footsteps of Verdun's soldiers)
- La Sculpture grecque d'Alexandre à Cléopâtre Partie I (Greek Sculpture from Alexander the Great to Cleopatra Part I)

INTERESTS

I would say that my main passion is reading. I read classics, contemporary literature, but also non-fiction (on politics, economy, science, etc.). I read books in French and in English.

Keywords: french, english, german, literature, academic, professional, general, marketing, product descriptions
