Hi, welcome to my profile!

I am a Portuguese translator from Brazil. I translate from
English and French into Brazilian Portuguese. I have worked as part of an
in-house translation and project management team at Datawords for 1 year and at SDL for 3 years before
setting up as a freelancer.

I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation from
Université Paris 8, besides a Master of Sciences in Creative Business and
Social Innovation from EDHEC Business School and a Bachelor's degree in
Journalism. After moving to France for my studies, I started working as a
translator and project manager in 2019.

Although I also work with other topics, my main specialisms
in translation are by far the following:

- Business and Finance (accounting, auditing, financial
instruments, insurance business, trade, annual reports, cryptocurrencies,
forex, press articles). I worked for five years as a Financial Journalist at the prestigious Brazilian newspaper Valor Economico, which made me an expert in this type of content.

- Marketing, editorial & corporate communication
(website localization, translation of social media posts, presentations, press
releases, product descriptions, manuals, and brochures).

- Luxury (haute couture, watchmaking, travel and tourism). I've translated for clients such as Dior, Channel, Tag Heuer, L'Oréal, Benefit and Relais & Châteaux)

- Environment (green tech, green finance, climate change,
environmental laws and policies, environmental impact assessments, quality
procedure documents, regulation compliance submissions). Translation of the book "L'illusion de la finance verte" into Portuguese.

I have experience managing and translating large projects
with over 20,000 words and different file types. The CAT tools I use are Trados
2022, Phrase and Omega T.
