I'm always a bit iffy about that word, because often I see a certain passivity to it, in the sense that we need to be motivated in order to do something (the motivation drives you) - rather than a decision you make each day to do a thing. I also study music, and the word comes up there.
There are days that I am not at all "motivated" and don't feel like doing any work. But I do the work anyway, and put out the same quality and care regardless. It's an attitude of responsibility t...
